Current Career Opportunities:
An Auditor is a responsible professional position performing audit work within County agencies and departments, as well as other organizations. The work involves financial, compliance and operational audits of agencies, departments, programs, and activities. Work is performed under the direct supervision of an Audit Supervisor and the general direction of the Director of County Audit. Starting Salary Range: $23.08 – $38.26 per hour.
Reports directly to the Accounting Manager. Responsible for administration and maintenance of accounting systems for governmental/enterprise funds, financial statements and CAFR preparation, working with auditors on interim, annual and special audits, and supervision of staff. Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting plus at least three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in governmental accounting. Must have strong leadership, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and familiarity with spreadsheet and word processing software. CPA required. Starting Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000/annually plus benefits (starting salary commensurate with experience). Apply by Saturday, April14, 2018.
