On November 6, 2019, the 2020 Charter Review Commission (CRC) approved the request to establish Split Oak as a committee for the 2020 CRC.
After careful consideration of the information presented, the committee voted to recommend a change to the Orange County Charter be made with respect to protecting Split Oak Forest by restricting Board of County Commissioners’ amendment of restrictions and covenants.
On May 6, 2020, the CRC accepted the committee’s recommended change to the Orange County Charter with respect to protecting Split Oak Forest by restricting Board of County Commissioners’ amendment of restrictions and covenants.
