The Florida Constitution and Orange County Charter require the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) to adjust the County’s commission district boundaries every 10 years as a result of the most recent census data. On August 24, 2021, the BCC, by way of Resolution 21-M-31, appointed 15 members to the Orange County Advisory Committee for Redistricting (ACR) to study the 2020 census data and current maps in order to propose commission district boundary adjustments for the Board’s consideration and adoption.
As Clerk to the BCC, the Clerk’s Office prepares meeting minutes for these meetings. For additional information related to redistricting and ACR as well as a list of upcoming meetings, agendas and supporting materials, visit the County’s Redistricting 2021 (ocfl.net) webpage.
